Our Story
Hapitanan Siargao is a passion project established by a young entrepreneur from Cebu City, Philippines. Designed to offer both affordability and comfort, our property is a welcoming place for both local and international travelers looking to experience the beauty of Siargao Island.
Our accommodations can host up to 20 guests- it is a dormitory type, making it a perfect choice for group getaways, family vacations, and trips with friends. We also offer private rooms for those seeking a bit more privacy and relaxation.

Just a short walk from the General Luna Integrated Terminal, our location puts you right where the adventure begins close to Siargao’s famous surf spots (cloud 9), local eateries, and must-see attractions.

Our History
Hapitanan Hostel Siargao was founded in late 2024, born from a dream that came to life when the owner decided to leave his job and pursue his passion for business. With the support of his family, he built this small hostel to create not just a livelihood, but a space where travelers could feel at home.
In less than a year, Hapitanan has grown steadily and now proudly operates three branches across the island. With this growth, we've made it our mission to offer options for every kind of traveler—whether you prefer a cozy dormitory bed, a comfortable private room, or a more spacious villa experience.
We continue to expand not only our locations but also the quality of our services, now offering enhanced amenities and a variety of activities to make every Siargao stay unforgettable.
